- Framing: timber, steel or trusses.
- Roof space: insulation, ducting, timber size and spacing.
- Eaves, fascias, barge boards and gables.
- Walls: structure, cladding, render.
- Rising damp.
- Chimneys: visual structural condition only.



Joinery

- Check for dampness and the overall condition of fittings.
